The Catalyst is a biannual publication founded in 2025 in Brooklyn, NY. The Catalyst aims to create a platform for young and emerging writers and artists to place their work in a varied, diverse magazine that is equally interested in the big and the small.

The Catalyst will be published online and printed as a limited edition chapbook, with its first issue to arrive in December 2025. All profits will be donated to The Service Collective, a nonprofit organization based in Brooklyn, NY that engages and empowers youth to take action in their community through volunteer service.
